“Mitt Romney is pro-life,” the senior adviser admitted to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. “He’ll govern as a pro-life president, but you’re going to see the Democrats use all sorts of shiny objects to distract people’s attention from the Obama performance on the economy. This is not a social issue election.”
Look. I’ve said this before. There have been plenty of moments in the last 3.5 years where I thought Obama could have done better - much better, in fact - on reproductive rights and reproductive justice.
But the things I have problems with when it comes to Obama are NOT going to be fixed by electing Romney. No way.

I disagree about this not being a social issue election because the social issues facing this country directly affect the economy.
We need more funding for education because a more educated population will help increase employment. Not to mention that if you increase education funding, more teachers can be hired.
People who say social issues don’t matter when it comes to the presidential election have the luxury of saying that because social issues don’t affect them.
For example, cis men who say that this “war on women*” thing is just a way for Obama to get votes have the luxury of saying that because THEIR major form of birth control isn’t the one Romney has explicitly supported making illegal.
Fuck Off Romney.

It is Sophie M Herold, the girl from Germany who attacks LGBTQ people and outs them to others. She is transphobic, homophobic and one of the sickest people I know. And now she’s back with a cunning new plan to get you NAME, ADDRESS, BIRTH DATE, AND PHOTO.
This girl is dangerous, and for some reason is allowed to keep making new tumblr accounts. We’ve raised awareness before and it helped, so lets do it again before she puts another persons life in danger. She collects your information and gives it out to others, she has sent letters to peoples parents outing them, other people have gotten hurt because of her. Yes, hurt.
Even if we can’t stop her again, get this message out and stop others giving her information etc.
